Geographic location
The municipality of Alfacar, is located in the La Vega region of the province of Granada, which lies on the southern slopes of the Sierra de la Alfaguara mountain range. It borders the villages of Jun, Nívar, Víznar, Huétor Santillán and Güevéjar. It is just 7 km from the city of Granada.
Getting there by bus
The Alfacar Town Hall belongs to the Granada Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium which provides regular bus services operated by the company Autogranadina. You can check timetables for the Alfacar bus lines on the Consortium’s website.
Getting there by car
From the southwest, access is via the A-92 motorway and the Alfacar road (GR-3103), which connects the municipality with the northern part of Granada. From the northeast, take the GR-3101 which runs between Nívar and Víznar, passing through Alfacar.
