Municipal Public Library

The Municipal Library began its activities in 2001 and currently has more than 6,000 volumes, including books and other audiovisual materials.

On Saturday, 21 April 2018, the new Public Library premises were inaugurated, shared with the Youth Information Centre and the Municipal Toy Library in C/ Ángel de la Higuera.

You can choose to read in the library’s reading room or you can take a book home with you thanks to the home lending service. An online platform allowing access to the catalogue and borrowing of the main new publications in digital format has also been made available to the public. All those who have an Andalusia Public Library Network card can access these services.

The Library has public computers with Internet access and free WiFi.

There are also workshops, exhibitions, book presentations, guided tours and other activities to encourage reading in schools, associations and other groups in the community.
